Busy..Busy...Busy...

Been so busy these few days of Raya; helping aunt for Raya preparation, beraya-ing at my friend's house, Amanda and last but not least, packing luggage. That's right. I'm leaving tomorrow.

Time is passing so fast but I manage to catch up with my friends. :) Had BBQ and steamboat, which Jie couldn't join in. Well, obviously she merajuk-ed because we had it without her in. But we'll have it again in December when all of us are going to be back for another Christmas gathering. YAY!!

Went for a night out with the girls and we went to The Mark's Lodge for dinner; Amanda, Chang, Nicolette and Sharon.

Had some crazy photos and we talked about our secondary school times, where we always made history in school; the noisest class and so forth. Naughty students. :P. We really lost contact with most of them - maybe we are still in contact with half of the class but not sure.

What Inspires Me To Go On

Few weeks ago, Sharon showed me a video called "Song From A Secret Garden" but it wasn't played by Secret Garden, instead it was played by the winner of Eurovision Song Contest, Alexander Rybak. I didn't notice how talented he was until I watch his performance in the show "I Kveld", a Norwegian show. Yes, he's a Norwegian.

He composed his own song for the contest, Fairytale and it's now out for sale. Apparently, I doubt that they are selling it here in Malaysia. Well, I could still update myself about his music in Youtube though. *grin*

Frankly speaking, he's so talented and I guess it wasn't easy to compete in that contest because it involved all the Europe countries; Iceland, Greece, Turkey, Russia, Spain, Azerbaijan, Finland etc etc. All I could say about Alexander's performance was "fantastic".

The moment I watched him, he made me realised that I shouldn't have stopped. In fact, I should continue although it may not be a fast progression. But someone once told me that "nothing will be achieved by standing still, but there'll be a big accomplishment even with small moves. " I may not be great or smart, but I supposed if I'm willing to continue and with hardwork, there wouldn't be a problem for me to succeed. Just like him. See, he's now well-known for his achievement in the whole world - maybe not exactly the whole world and that's for sure because he had been trained since he was 10 by his parents who are both professional musicians. It runs in his blood which explains where he is standing now.

He inspires me to learn violin. I once thought that I wanted to learn violin and flute. I should polish up my skills so that it won't be wasted, my parents money won't be wasted.

Everytime when I got back here, I would at least touch the piano although I don't play it fluently. However, by touching it, even by playing a simple song, it makes my hands to play smoother than it was before. I'm still thinking of a place that I could just play the notes...to release stress.

Redang Life 2

Yen Wei and I finished our training 3 days earlier so we decided to have lots of fun before going back to KL. Or else, it would be meaningless and it's as if we'd never been to Redang before. Hehe..

So on the 5th of September, Yen Wei's sister and aunt came to Redang so we went to the resort to pay them a visit. Then that night, we went to Long Beach.

The next day, we went for snorkelling! Honestly, we really tried to have all the funs. We went out at around 9:30 am and returned to the resort at 1:00 pm. Tiring but exciting and fun.

Well, didnt' really get much pictures from their FB. But it was real fun - although we kind of erm...seasick... But we still enjoyed. :) I saw Nemo and his friends and they were beautiful. I used to say that I regretted coming to Redang for training. But I guess I have to take back my words now - because it really created memorable experiences for me. Thanks to my FOA manager, Ms Christine (thanks for the dinner as well.hehe), RD Manager and the chefs for all the experiences that has been given to me. Gonna miss it a lot..

Last Saturday, me and my sis went to my ex-music school's Music Festival IV. I missed those moment when I used to be up on stage with my bandmates 2 years ago. But we didn't manage to take pictures and we left early. So after that we went for dinner at KFC. And after that we went to Vedablu for dessert. Yeah....

Cooling Flower Tea

Yesterday, I went out with my family for breakfast. Then we sent my sis for dancing class and then me and my mum went to buy gift for her colleague's baby. We went to a new shop called Baby Kawaii. The things inside..oh my gosh...they're so cute!!!

Redang Life

First of all, I would like to thank my dear, Li Fah for uploading the photos that we've taken when we're at Long Beach. Thank you, dear. So we started out journey to Long Beach at around 7 pm because we jungle-trek there. Cool, huh? Well, it wasn't my idea because at first we planned to go with my gang (yen wei, yew, henry, eunice and michelle) but yen wei said she wanted to go a day earlier with her sis and aunt so they divided into two groups. I eventually joined both groups! *wide grin*

Anyway, there were 7 of us including myself and so here we go! Jungle trekking began......

It was all 7 of us walking together and then in the end, it would end up only the four of us, Li Fah, Peng, Phil and me. The other 3, Chin, Poh, and Kelvin were walking very fast. Excuse me, it's my first time and it's so damn dark. How did you expect me to walk fast? :(

After all the sweats and walking up and down the hills, finally we reached Long Beach at around 8 something. Whoo! What a night. Haha...

So we had our dinner, but we ordered drinks first because we were damn thirsty! After that, Li Fah said she wanted to go to 'More More Tea Inn' and bought some souvenirs. So we went with Peng and Phil. Eventually, we had already gone our own way. Chin, Poh and Kelvin went to somewhere else. We were playing around, looking for some funny pants for Peng. It was really fun. After that I said to Li Fah "Hey, Li Fah. Let's take pictures!" And so we did.....

Then Phil reminded me that I wanted to do a tattoo! AND YES!! I DID IT!! YUHOO!!! So we went to his friend's stall and did one.

Guess which one is mine... hehe...

After all the photo sessions, we went and meet up with the other 3 guys. We talked and walked for a while and it's already 11 pm. So we jungle - trekked back. By the time we reached the Private Beach, it's already 11 pm plus. Phil wanted to swim at the sea as he was feeling hot. So were we. But we didn't go into the sea. I would just cool my legs at the sea.

Well, we finished at around 12 am plus. Then we walked back and had a drink at the only restaurant that's opened, Asmadi. That's where we usually had our dinner because that's the only restaurant that's opened during puasa month. We had to walk all the way from our quarters to Asmadi which took us about 15 minutes walk.

We reached quarters at about 1 am plus, had our shower and I started to pack some of my stuff. I couldn't believe that I didn't have much time to have fun. Which was why Yen Wei and I went for snorkelling and we swam as often as possible - which made us tan a little. :/

Chef Of The Day

Okay... I guess I should keep my promise right? So my promise to my family was to cook dinner for them - and I did! Just some dish that I've learned in Redang. Don't expect them to be presentable and as perfect as my chef did. At least, it's edible.. *wink*

This was the first meal that I cooked for my family. Lui and dad quite liked the mashed potatoes. "Not oily" dad said. It's actually made due to Lui's request. She likes it though.

Jie, I'm sure you know who she's trying to imitate..HAHA

We (mum, Lui, How and me) had a great laugh after dinner. I'm glad we enjoyed the dinner although it's simple..

There's something that I've been longing to do and at last I've done it!

Things I Wanted To Say...

You made me wanted to cry as well when I found out that you cried the time I left. I'm so gonna miss you, the times we had, the jungle trekking we had, the last dinner we had at Long Beach (crazy night though), and the tattoo we did together (wish I could show them the picture now :/) - I'm gonna miss that... See you and take care alright?

Both of you are two of the craziest person I've met in Redang. I enjoyed your companies although we only knew one another in August. Thank you for everything and I enjoyed the night before I left - jungle trekking. *wink*

I never thought we would become friends. Thanks for the nights we spent together and I appreciated it. Thanks for being the tour guide during our jungle trekking. (hehe) I agreed that you said we only knew each other for a short period. I enjoyed watching movies with you, although it's only 2 movies. We could still keep in touch though. Miss you too. Will try my best to go back Redang. ;)

That's the first night that we actually sat down and chatted for so long after 10 weeks. :) Well, all I have to say is you're such a good person. It's comfortable enough to talk to you. You're really caring and I've never regretted in meeting you. Thanks for inviting me back to Redang, but I'll have to see my schedule. :)
