Successful Pies!!

We had our pastry class and we baked apple pie and fruit pie. My friends knew that Valentine Tai Q and his family (except for Holly) was here as i mentioned it to them. So, they gave me the big pieces because they knew that i wanted to let them have a try. (Thanks, guys!)

As i was on my way home, i was wondering how would John look like. I mean, i hadn't seen him for like 14 years since the last time i met him in KK. I was like 4 and he's 5. (Am i right?).When i met him yesterday at my house, i was a little nervous (how come???) and at the same time feeling so 'bu hao yi si'. He's so tall (my goodness!), fair, shy and talked less. (which was not supposed to be in his gene. HAHA~ family, you know what i mean). I tried to talk to him and taught him 3 simple chinese words; HOI KIM HIU (family, you know who i mean. HAHA~); not sure if he could remember that...

They tried my pies and eventually, they said they tasted good! Unfortunately, Valentine Tai Q was a little sick so he just tried a little. John said he never had those before so he said it's nice. I'm glad that they like it. I guess the cut that i had on my palm was worth it. (i accidentally cut my self while slicing the apples) HAHA~


At night, we went for a gathering dinner. I was supposed to join them for dinner last Wednesday, but Sut QQ couldn't make it. So, Valentine Tai Q called me and asked me to join for dinner on Friday, which was yesterday. They said that they didn't order enough food on Wednesday, and yesterday the food was too much! Some misunderstanding with the captain at the kitchen. HAHA~

After the dinner, ying ying gogo said he needed to leave early for some 'birthday party' (is it true?). So we went home quite early (not really early, around 10?) and chit chat with Valentine Tai Q, aunty Pam, John, Lulu jie jie, Joeann jie jie and Tung Tung before leaving for Canada the next day.

Is Geo class really that boring???

Today, we had our geo class and FINALLY we had our assessment (after been reading like crazy and suddenly postpone to today). We thought maybe we could like got some tips from our 'neighbour' and in the end we found out that all our question papers were different!!!OMG..we were so panic and we got confused. But in the end, i thought we did quite well as well..

Before having our assessment, we were taught about the new topics and i got fed up of copying the notes. We weren't given the chance to copy and the slides just changed so fast!Guess have to wait for it to be posted on BB6..

Is Geo class really that boring then????

Errr...FYI, this is our new member of the family. Uncle J, daddy's so-call brother. He looks kinda retarded so i'm not sure whether he feels bored or what.

My 'family' in Sandakan...

I received a comment from my 'mum' in sandakan and she asked how come i didn't put up our 'family' in my blog. Sorry..It's not that i forgot but...i reall forgot. HAHA~ just joking. Anyway, this family has no grandmother(there'sone but ah gong doesn't approve her to be his wife) but i've no idea how 'mum' exist.this family has no father but i don't know how my brother and i exist. HAHA~

We started this family when mum, me and ah gong went for lunch before attending the interact meeting. Ah gong said it was his birthday and that he's getting old. mum started calling him "ah gong!ah gong!" surprisingly, ah gong, andy and me have the same surname, LIEW. So since mum calls kien ben ah gong, so she'll be the mum and andy and i will be her kids. Kinda funny but we enjoy it. When we were in our high schools, we used to hang out only when we had meetings and stuff. After our SPM and STPM examination, ah gong, mum and i went for a drink and we hung out for almost 2-3 hours!!(don't know what we talked about.HAHA~)supposingly, Andy was joining us, but he had gastric!!(poor thing)

Pity Andy....Always being bullied by the eldest and oldest..Yet, he never fight back...Good boy...HAHA~

Restaurant Practical Day....Pool Day!!

Today, we had our second restaurant practical class at our school restaurant. We were taught to set 2 types of table set-up; a la carte and table d' hote (at first, we didn't know how to pronounce it). We wiped our glassware, cultleries and crockeries. To me, this class needs a lot of memorising. We need to know the different types of cutleries and crockeries and they are used for what kind of dishes. *WHOO* Anyway, yi ka jie and i paired with each other and we set up the table for 4 pax.

After our 5 hours practical, daddy and mummy decided to go to 7th floor (everyone's favourite place) to play pool. maybe to release stress..since i neded to do something with mummy in the library and yi ka jie is 'dying'(wanted to rest at home), so i followed them to play pool as well. Not playing, just looking. i needed tai lou(sam go) to walk me home. you know, danger is EVERYWHERE~. The place was full of smokes. I was a little suffocated. the new member of the family, Celine saw ****, one of the guys that she admired. But, she wasn't into him as how she was into the other guy named ****HAHA~

"Mother's" Day for "Mummy"

After our geo class, daddy wanted to go Sunway Pyramid and buy centre piece for our restaurant practical. So, we planned to go together while accompanying sai lou there. While, we were walking, suddenly yi ka jie came up with an idea. " Why don't we buy a mother's day card for mummy?" we all agreed and lied to mummy and daddy that we accompanied sai lou to buy vest. so we quickly went to Jusco and bought the card. We filled in with our wishes inside (in a rush, you know!). All of us were so busy filling up in the end the cashier just looked at our crazy acts.

Mummy was quite shocked and she laughed at the same time. Guess she never thought that we would buy that for her. Daddy almost choked as he saw this big card. Mummy said she was very happy to see this BIG card. HAHA~.

Geo class was.......boring.....

Yesterday's geo class was boring(no offence, but it's true). Daddy, mummy, tai ka jie, yi ka jie, sam go, me and Eunice went for a dinner at our school restaurant (invited by our senior). I wasn't really sure if we could finish our meal in just one hour as we have starter, main course and dessert because we have class straight after that.But since our senior invited and mummy said we could finish them in one hour, so we all agreed. But, our lunch didn't start on time!! Sure late for geo class! I felt guilty as well because the waiter that served us was also rushing until he almost sweat! Poor thing... We kept telling him not to rush (although we were really in a hurry) That's why I hoped that the lecturer would be late as well (as always). It was really an unluckily day because he seemed to take our attendance yesterday while usually he just assumed that everyone's there! So we told the waiter that we would not have our dessert and rushed to our class. He wasn't angry, but he just continue talking. *Phew*

During the class, eventually we didn't really listen (at least we knew what was he explaining). I caught one was sleeping (wished to put his picture, but i can't take the risk. HAHA~), some were talking, chatting - and one was tying my hair!

Daddy was quite bored, so he and chia chia planned to tie my hair (can't believe that daddy can do plaits so well!) Daddy wanted to tie for the second time so he redid again.

Daddy wasn't satisfied for the second time. Nevertheless, it's quite good. How do you expect a daddy to tie plaits? HAHA~

Pastry Classes

This was the first butter cake that 'yi ka jie' and me made together on our first pastry class . Yeah, it looked a little burn and black in the middle. That was because our measurement was not accurate enough. So our mixture was a little watery. But, after baking it, it looked nice and tasted good as well (not trying to blow my own trumpet,okay). So, we thought that our icing would be good.

This was what it became after we put the icing on top!! We got so frustrated and thought we could eat it!!But in the end we fed the dustbin. It was a waste and it was our first butter cake...What to do? We both were still new in baking cakes. Although i did before like helping mum, but that was a long long long long time ago....How i remember?

This was the puff that 'yi ka jie', 'sam go' me and 'sai lou' baked (the second time). First time wasn't so nice. Instead of baking a puff, everyone was baking 'pisang goreng', 'martabat', 'capati' etc etc...Eveything was so thin and they didn't look like puffs! So we were so excited about our puffs because they looked so delicious to us. We had to rush and put the cream and chocolate toppings before we were going to be late for our IT class (assessment day - i got full marks for it!Yay!)

But Then!!!!!

This was what happened because of getting late!! They looked so messy and only ONE PIECE that was full of chocolate! Some of them even went missing. Anyway, they tasted good although they didn't look much presentable. HAHA~ So far, i'm much satisfied. Still need to practice more....

Labour Day is Family Day!!

I've been creating this blog for quite a long time and i just got questioned by my 'yi ka jie' for not writing anything in my blog. Honestly, i really don't know what to write in it...I'm just.....blank! "Just write anything la! Don't you feel like sharing anything good with your friends? You know i like to share everything in my blog so that your friends know what happen to you here?" that's what 'yi jie' said to me when we were having dinner...So i HAVE to write something or else, tomorrow she'll nag at me again. HAHA~

So far, i had much fun in college; meeting crazy friends, crazy fans of DBSK, and today i just had a new family! There're 7 of us; mummy, daddy, 'tai jie', 'yi jie', 'sam go', me and a younger brother. We went to Sungei Wang, Time Square and we had a great fun. I think after today, 'sai lou' is not going to go out if i'm going along. He just confessed that he's AFRAID OF ME! Actually i really don't know why he's so scared. I didn't do anything and yet he's so scared as if he's seen a GHOST!

Everytime when we took picture with 'yi ka jie', she would sure say "Yer...I'm so fat...", " Yer...I look ugly...Again, again,"then she would start adjusting her right post for the next shot. Or start looking at any nearby mirror or her OWN mirror and combed her hair nicely. Until, 'tai ka jie' and me went like "Aiya, ok d la!" (obviously, tai jie very frustrated already- HAHA~)

Take for example: today, we took quite a lot of pictures. Actually, daddy's been taking a lot, though. When he took yi ka jie's pics, she'd go like "Yer...I'm ugly..Don't want, don't want. Delete and take again," then look at the mirror, comb and etc etc.

Anyway........

P/s: mummy is actually the youngest among us and yet she's the mum! HAHA!! Daddy's in cheerleading so he has a FLEXIBLE body..and his favourite song is Mariah Carey's Touch my Body...

P/s: this is the sai lou that is afraid of me..sam go somehow is very girlish. According to mummy, his Y chromosome is like a X shape. So he so-called has XX chromosomes instead of XY chromosomes...

P/s: tai ka jie is a 12 As SPM achiever. Smart, eh? But you better don't 'kacau' her. She can BOMB you anytime, anywhere! yi ka jie is the 'beauty queen' (can't live without mirror - same as sam go). Geng, eh?

P/s: Actually, we were at the food court in Time Square and everyone was looking at us when we said "take family photo! Take family photo!!!" I guess they were curious about it... Anyway, we are one big happy and crazy family!!!
