My Special Day....

Today(24th June) is my SPECIAL day....Yes,it's my 18th birthday!!!Last night, i went to Karin's house for a sleep over..Her mother had a last-minute BBQ which was a farewell for her as she'll be leaving for KL tomorrow(see you there, girl!). So since they're doing the BBQ thg, i helped them out in spreading the butter and barlic on the bread. It's somehow like garlic bread...

Yeah..kinda messy ....

Anyway, her sailing friends and some of her primary school friends were there as well and so were my ex CRAZY classmates; Iris and Fong Cheas. So since Karin was busy entertaining her friends, Iris, fong Cheas and I hang out together - as usual.HAHA~ And so after that, Iris is going to TAYLOR'S soon..Bt the one in Subang, of course and Fong Cheas is in Form 6 with Kitty and the rest of our ex classmates.

Today, i went to school to get my school leaving cert. Thanks to my mum, i had to get it myself when i'd asked her to get it for me. So, in the end i met some of my teachers there and bla, bla, bla...we chatted and after settling things in sch, we went to De Palm and had lunch;Kitty, Fong Cheas, Iris, Karin and me.

While eating the bread, Kitty did something funny to the bread!!!As usual, it's her pastime though.HAHA~

err...she was trying to do a smiley on the bread...but i'm not sure if she did it...

Okay, so after that i was kinda upset with the service in De Palm..(as if now that i'm a hotel management student and i know..HAHA~) And while i was talking to Fong Cheas, Karin and Iris gave me a SURPRISE (again) with a cake..GOSH..I recieved 2 surprises for my birthday!

After having lunch and farewell to all of them, i joined my mum with ANOTHER cake...GOSH!!i had 3 cakes just for my birthday..oooo...The cake was baked my my mum's ex student, Max..and while my mum was like chatting with Max's mum at the tailor (his mum is a tailor), i saw a FAIRLADY just outside the shop!!It's her daughter's car!!she said the company was borrowing it to her for 2 days..and she purposely asked for a leave off just to drive the car..

Nice, huh??hehe...

Okay, so after that we went home and cut the cake (it's a durian cake). And in the end, we end up getting sore throat, flu, cough,bla bla bla..and my sister end up resting on the bed now - fever..

These were the gifts that i received from Fong Cheas(the earrings) and the cooling pad (from my sis and her boyfriend, ah how) Talking about COOLING PAD, mum thought that they bought me a MINI STOVE!!!

mum: what's that? you're buying a mini stove for her?

sis and me: Yeah! (ah how just kept quiet)

mum: rili?(looking blur) how?how is she going to cook?

me: you just put the mini pan on top of these two lo...(pointing at the cooling fan)

mum: huh? (ah how started to laugh d)

sis: yeah.you just put the pan on top la..

me: it's only for one portion only...that's why it looks small..(ah how already laughed out loud)

Mum then knew that she was TRICKED!! HAHA..mum was so funny and she really believed every single word we said!!

Well, that's the end of my birthday...And thanks to all my fellow beloved darlings for the gifts and cakes and everything..Love you guys sooooooo much!!!!

Surprise From My BELOVED Friends....Awww...

Today was the last day of our final assessment - RDOD. After that, daddy invited us for skating in Sunway Pyramid. So, we went there at about 1 o'clock. It was kinda late already because we waited for Henry to arrive. But, in the end we asked Henry to go by himself. He felt guilty though for letting us waiting for him..

Anyway, so me, yew and mummy went to Sunway and found that dai lou and daddy was already skating - and so was Mervyn, Evon and Josh!! Okay, so after that we went and had our lunch as we hadn't eaten anything since morning. :( We went to KFC and ate while waiting for Henry to After eating, we straight away went to the counter and buy the ticket for skating. We paid for RM21 each and we didn't know that we would get student price!!Well, it's ok. We paid it already though. At first, yew and Henry didn't want to join us because they didn't know how to skate and they were paiseh.(because i've seen yew doing many paiseh stuff..HAHA) After that, they were ok with it and joined us.

We skated from 2.30 to 5.45 (legs pain like hell) and i fell for like 2 times. Yeah, i was wet though..We really enjoyed ourselves very much and i guess we should do this more.HAHA~ Anyway, we decided to stop skating as everyone seemed to look so tired; mum and yen wei started to get bruises on their knees, Henry's foot started to ache as well and Andrew kinda sprained his ankle.

All of the sudden, yew, jia ying, jay, henry, and mummy were gone!!Left me, tai ka jie, dai lou and tai ka jie behind... Well, whatever and after that when we were about to leave Sunway, we saw patrick! Then he joined us for steamboat as well...

We ate all kinds of stuff; meatballs, prawns, etc etc...After dinner, i felt weird because everyone wanted to go to the TOILET...ooookayyy,maybe they drank too much soup..I started asking them when were we going to leave as they are starting to clear up the table!!Partick said that mummy wanted to eat until 11 o'clock!Siao ah...Never mind..So we waited for them and suddenly..I SAW A BIRTHDAY CAKE!!!OMG....They actually threw a surprise for me, in advance...They sang birthday song in english, mandarin, malay, and cantonese. I couldn't control myself and i cried..Honestly, i never had such birthday before.. I was touched..Until I cried like mad and Fion hugged me to actually calm me down.HAHA~ So i blew the candle and as usual, they asked me to take the candles out by using MOUTH..ookkaayyy....Fine, so i did and jia ying put the cream on my face!!!AWH!! And so does Patrick!!Never mind..i can accept that...

Prom Night is DAMN thrilling.....

Last saturday, i accompanied mummy to buy her furniture for her room in IKEA. We saw quite a lot of nice furniture. Mummy didn't know which to choose because they were all very nice. After choosing and buying them, we went back home and mummy asked me to help her with the furniture. She was so excited and she couldn't wait to 'build' them.

But then, yew asked whether we wanted to watch movie. So, mummy, jia ying, jun, yew and i went to watch movie at The Curve. Prom Night. Before the show started, jia ying and yew went and buy some popcorn and drinks while the rest of us were in the toilet. Mummy's purse ACCIDENTALLY fell into the toilet bowl...Argh! Disgusting but luckily she managed to pick it up quickly- but it was kinda......wet.

After that, we went into the cinema hall. Honestly, i couldn't bear to watch it. I was so scared that i kept holding mummy's hand throughout the show. But to my surprise, she looked more scared than me! She hold my hand so tight and also jun's hand.(OMG!HAHA!) But the lecturer was really insane!!Falling in love with his own student and killed her whole family just to get to her!!What kind of lecturer was that?! He deserve to DIE!!!

Ok..Fine with that..After the movie, we went back home and mummy straight away started with her new 'babies'.

Then, we started to 'build' the other study table but we couldn't finish it. Mummy didn't have any screwdriver and we ended up using scissors. In the end, jun and i only managed to turn two screws - and we gave up.

See that? only TWO of them succeeded! I can't believe it!!

First Cooking Of The Term

Yesterday, we had our kitchen practical and it's the first time for us to cook! Fish fille with butter lemon sauce (forgot what's the name in French...) We were so nervous. I kept thinking what'd be the guests' reactions after eating them. I hoped that they didn't have food poisoning though We were kinda buzy and a little rush. Well, it's our first time so that's about it.

Eventually, we heard our frens who were a few of the servers of the day said that the guests kinda liked our main course!! We were kinda happy though to hear that because we never expected it to be edible!HAHA, just joking...

Well...it didn't look very presentable - because this was not to serve the guest..it's ours!HAHA

Today, we had our last pastry class for the term..So, we had our little assessment on how to make shortcrust pastry...While waiting for the pies to be baked and preparing the creme caramel and custard, we noticed that there were some construction done in the pastry class..New sliding doors..

i think the slide doors were too shiny that these two boys didn't notice them and just bang it!

Finally, we had our pies baked!! They looked tasty but unfortunately we couldn't have all of them because they would be served in th restaurant..so we just had a piece for a person..Aww...last class and we can't have them all..so sad... :(

Successful Pies!!

We had our pastry class and we baked apple pie and fruit pie. My friends knew that Valentine Tai Q and his family (except for Holly) was here as i mentioned it to them. So, they gave me the big pieces because they knew that i wanted to let them have a try. (Thanks, guys!)

As i was on my way home, i was wondering how would John look like. I mean, i hadn't seen him for like 14 years since the last time i met him in KK. I was like 4 and he's 5. (Am i right?).When i met him yesterday at my house, i was a little nervous (how come???) and at the same time feeling so 'bu hao yi si'. He's so tall (my goodness!), fair, shy and talked less. (which was not supposed to be in his gene. HAHA~ family, you know what i mean). I tried to talk to him and taught him 3 simple chinese words; HOI KIM HIU (family, you know who i mean. HAHA~); not sure if he could remember that...

They tried my pies and eventually, they said they tasted good! Unfortunately, Valentine Tai Q was a little sick so he just tried a little. John said he never had those before so he said it's nice. I'm glad that they like it. I guess the cut that i had on my palm was worth it. (i accidentally cut my self while slicing the apples) HAHA~


At night, we went for a gathering dinner. I was supposed to join them for dinner last Wednesday, but Sut QQ couldn't make it. So, Valentine Tai Q called me and asked me to join for dinner on Friday, which was yesterday. They said that they didn't order enough food on Wednesday, and yesterday the food was too much! Some misunderstanding with the captain at the kitchen. HAHA~

After the dinner, ying ying gogo said he needed to leave early for some 'birthday party' (is it true?). So we went home quite early (not really early, around 10?) and chit chat with Valentine Tai Q, aunty Pam, John, Lulu jie jie, Joeann jie jie and Tung Tung before leaving for Canada the next day.

Is Geo class really that boring???

Today, we had our geo class and FINALLY we had our assessment (after been reading like crazy and suddenly postpone to today). We thought maybe we could like got some tips from our 'neighbour' and in the end we found out that all our question papers were different!!!OMG..we were so panic and we got confused. But in the end, i thought we did quite well as well..

Before having our assessment, we were taught about the new topics and i got fed up of copying the notes. We weren't given the chance to copy and the slides just changed so fast!Guess have to wait for it to be posted on BB6..
